Alex Veach - Enigma
Alex Veach is a Hip-Hop/Rap artist based in New York. An obviously talented artist, Veach has had features with popular artists like Wiz Khalifa, Gucci Mane and Rick Ross. Recently, Veach has started producing Electronic music; today we are excited to share our thoughts on Alex Veach’s new Electronic music album, Enigma.
Enigma is a true front to back pleaser with “Dark Sledge” capturing your attention as the album opens, crafting an exciting soundscape that teases things to come. “Shiver Vault” showcases Veach’s Hip-Hop background and I love how this track bends genres so effortlessly. “Night Swag” is my personal favorite and I can easily imagine that track bumping in a club while “Emberdream” has such a ripe and enjoyable soundscape that it is impossible not to fall in love with it. Lustrun’s pulse-pounding energy closes Enigma out on an awesome high note and it left me both satisfied and wanting more. Although this is very much a Bass and Future House album, you get some extremely tasteful dubstep motifs mixed in that kept things extremely interesting and appropriately intense.
Awesome, energetic, melodic and at some times even - fittingly - enigmatic, Enigma is an exceptional release and has me excited to hear more of this type of music from Alex Veach as he spreads his roots across different kinds of music.
