Anthony Brewer - Ferguson (Too Many)
Anthony Brewer is soulful singer originally from Indiana and currently based in Georgia. A multi-talented and experienced artist, Brewer has provided backing vocals to many artists’ songs and even played a role in Stepp Stewart’s production of “A Soulful Christmas”, a unique opportunity to show off his talent. “Ferguson (Too Many)” is a striking example of the passion that Anthony Brewer puts into his music and the subject of today’s review.
“Ferguson (Too Many)” is an excellent song featuring R&B and Soul elements. Lyrically, Anthony Brewer takes us through many of the tragedies - and frankly, injustices - that have occurred to people of color via police brutality; the music video also adds to the message and I highly recommend watching it for your first listen of this song. Brewer’s passion-filled voice brings his lyrics to life and really make you feel the pain in his heart, showing you his message is sincere and allowing you to empathize with what he is saying.
“Ferguson (Too Many)” does a wonderful job of introducing you to what Anthony Brewer stands for as well as all the talent and passion he has for his music.
