Ayane Yamazaki is a Japanese Pop music artist. In November 2020, Yamazaki released a cover of the song “風の谷のナウシカ” (“Kazeno Tanino Naushika”, and in English, “Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind”) from the Hayao Miyazaki film of the same name; it is the sixth and final track from her recent release 呼びかけられて (Yobikakerarete).
Yamazaki certainly does the original justice in her cover, performing the song’s complex melody perfectly. Yamazaki’s version of “風の谷のナウシカ” is an easy to enjoy experience that modernizes the sound of the original while showcasing Ayane Yamazaki’s incredible talent.
