Brunette - Fight Night
Brunette is a Twin Cities-based five-piece Indie Rock band. This group was formed in late 2020 by longtime friends Sam Holt and Joey Hays who share the songwriting duties. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Brunette’s single, “Fight Night”!
“Fight Night” comes in at three minutes and twelve seconds in length and showcases the genuine lyricism and relatable topics covered in Brunette’s music extremely well. Tackling topics like anxiety and apathy, “Fight Night” hits on a personal level and from a sonic standpoint the song captures these emotions perfectly. This song feels a nice gap that I have been experiencing lately in finding new Indie Rock; this track is extremely awesome and is definitely going to go on a few of my personal playlists.
After listening to “Fight Night”, I found myself interested in digging deeper into what Brunette has to offer and I believe that you will as well.
