Danjul - The Path
“The Path” is a recently released single from musician Danjul and features on a pop compilation album produced by well-known compilation label Gateway Records, which immediately provides a teaser for what kind of song we get to enjoy.
“The Path” features an incredibly infectious beat that sounds like it belongs on loop at a club. Repeated throughout many points in the song are the lyrics “come on follow me” further lending credence to the fact that this song is very easy to dance to; the vocal melody is also very catchy and has the potential to get stuck in your head for days at a time. “The Path” also has a certain quality that sounds very dreamlike and seems like it could put you in a trance - something that really makes this sound seem like escapist art.
Honestly, “The Path” has me excited for future releases from Danjul - songs like this are what I like to listen to while working on an artistic project or while grinding in a video game.
