Ecorse Creek Orchestra - Victory Lap

Ecorse Creek Orchestra is a Rock & Roll band from Detroit, Michigan. Drawing influence from artists like Tom Waits, Dr. John and even inspiration from Johnny Cash, this group’s Rock & Roll sound is truly something special. Today we are excited to take a listen to Ecorse Creek Orchestra’s song, “Victory Lap”, which is the second single from their upcoming album, Walking to the Moon.

“Victory Lap” is one of those songs that has a relatively short runtime - just under two and a half minutes - but feels larger and longer than that. This track has a certain rootsy, soulful feeling to it that I found immensely enjoyable and quite gripping. Indeed, the lyrics seem to come from a personal place, really giving an authentic backbone to the soulful feelings generated by the vocal and instrumental performances. The feelings presented in this song are brought to life by tasteful texturing and brilliant harmonies, a true testament to the skillful songwriting of Ecorse Creek Orchestra.

I feel like what Ecorse Creek Orchestra is doing with their music is really awesome and I cannot wait until Walking to the Moon is released in its entirety. You can keep up with Ecorse Creek Orchestra their website, Bandcamp, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages. We have “Victory Lap” embedded below via Spotify and you can find the track on your favorite streaming service by clicking here!
