H2SO4 - Fixated
H2SO4 is a UK-based Electronic-Indie act that has been active since the late 90’s. H2SO4 is somewhat enigmatic in their nature, not utilizing social media to promote their music, preferring to let the music speak for itself. We have previously listened to H2SO4’s single, “Crazy Bitch” and today we are back for more in the form of their single, “Fixated”.
“Fixated” is a lively release that showcases some of my personal favorite elements of H2SO4’s sound. This track is filled to the brim with raw energy and is the kind of song that will get you up and moving; I can easily imagine this song spinning at a crowded club or blasting in my ears during a run. The synths in this song feel aggressive and feel impactful and forceful. Both the instrumental portion of this song and the vocal performance are richly melodic, playing off of each other to provide an extremely exciting and memorable experience.
Everything about “Fixated” will leave you quite fixated on H2SO4 as well as the track itself. This mysterious group releases enticing music that is absolutely can’t-miss. Both “Crazy Bitch” and “Fixated” have been some of the most enjoyable tracks I have had the chance to listen to this year.
