Lake’s vocals pair with his acoustic guitar to set an emotive stage; through this track we are treated to a soulful performance from Lake whose vocals are at times soft and at times brimming with passion - around the one minute and thirty-five second mark, he begins absolutely belting out his vocals, offering up soul-stirring energy. “Field of Grass” is a truly remarkable track with a deeply soulful and rich soundscape, something that is incredible since the primary elements of this song are just Lake’s vocals and an acoustic guitar.
