Liam Moore - Cosmic Noon
Liam Moore is a musician who released his first album back in 2010 and has a second album due out next month; during the decade between releases, Moore primarily wrote classical music for choirs and chamber ensembles, something that helped him grow as a musician and composer. Today we plunge into Moore’s new single, “Cosmic Noon”, from his upcoming album Visions of a Perfect Life, due out on August 28, 2020.
“Cosmic Noon” starts out with an immediately noticeable spacey vibe, fitting the song’s title well; the subtle use of ambient synth sounds at the start really sets the tone and builds into something greater throughout the track. Lyrically, the song is a space-age love song, featuring excellently worded space-themed imagery as Moore sings about “leaving it all behind” for the girl he cares for. Moore’s clever orchestration, utilizing ambient synths that build into a crescendo that match his vocals at the end of the track are the highlight of the track, as Moore finishes this musical journey with quite a punch.
When speaking on his music, Liam Moore has stated that he “wants the songs stuck in his head to get stuck in yours” and I believe that “Cosmic Noon” accomplishes that goal.
