Nelson King - Strong
Nelson King is a singer/songwriter from Brighton, England. Finding inspiration in the world around him, King’s offers up some awesome guitar based Rock/Pop tracks. We have previously listened to Nelson King’s “Word Is Out” and today we are excited to share our thoughts on “Strong”!
“Strong” is an emotive and easily accessible song that absolutely demands attention. King’s guitar and vocal performances take center stage in this song, driving things along in a deeply enjoyable way. “Strong” is exceptionally melodic and was stuck in my head for quite awhile after I first listened to it - a hallmark of any great Pop-Rock style tune. I love the 90’s Pop Rock vibe this song gives off as it truly feels like a throwback to that era of music, though King leaves his own distinctive, exceptional stamp on the sound.
Along with “Word Is Out”, “Strong” is from King’s album Visions and I believe that both tracks do an excellent job of whetting your appetite for more music from this artist.
