Pete Price - Diamonds in the Sky

Pete Price is an American guitarist and songwriter with several decades of experience in the industry. Price has been the guitarist for The Fries Band for thirty years and that experience shines through in the music that he releases. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Pete Price’s single, “Diamonds in the Sky”!

“Diamonds in the Sky” is a Classic Rock throwback that feels like something ripped straight from an oldies radio station - and I mean that in the best way possible. Instrumentally, the song is very solid with Price’s guitar work standing out as especially sharp. Price’s vocals gel with the backing instrumental well and both the melody and lyrics were quite memorable as well. From top to bottom, this is an excellent song, and as a fan of throwbacks I am absolutely pleased with this song.

After listening to “Diamonds in the Sky”, it is easy to understand why Pete Price selected this song as a single for his latest album, even going so far as to describe this song as the “anthem” from that project - it really is a special piece.
