Ralph Nix & The Guilt Birds - Window Shopping
Ralph Nix is a singer/songwriter from Mississippi. With a music style that combines elements of Blues, Gospel, Country, Rock and even Blue Grass, Nix releases spirited music and has recently teamed up with The Guilt Birds for his next endeavor. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Ralph Nix & The Guilt Birds’ single, “Window Shopping”!
“Window Shopping” is a rhythm-driven Blues/Country/Rock song that is a real treat to listen to. I appreciate how all of Nix’s influences come out in this one and he really makes these genres shine in this song; the rhythm sets a brilliant foundation, the guitar adds an emotional layer and the vocals are the real star of the show. Hearing the bluesy guitar throughout this song took me back to when I was in a Blues band myself so in addition to enjoying the song as its own experience, I was also nostalgia-tripping a bit.
