Sarah Adnan Abdulrehman - Hybrid Action Trailer

Sarah Adnan Abdulrehman is a film composer/producer originally from Liverpool but currently based in London. A multi-instrumentalist, she plays piano, guitar and saxaphone; she began writing music for piano before progressing into orchestral music and finally adding electronic elements to her sound. Today we take a listen to her new extended library track, “Hybrid Action Trailer”.

“Hybrid Action Trailer” features three movements that act in a building nature. The way that the track builds definitely makes it feel like it belongs in a trailer for an action or thriller movie; though the track is not what I would call “hype”, it instead relies on an intense and anxious feeling that builds up throughout its duration which left me with the kind of edge of my seat anticipation I expect from a good movie trailer. In addition, I was able to imagine scenes from some of my favorite hit movies while listening to “Hybrid Action Trailer”, personally playing scenes from The Avengers, Mission Impossible and Jurassic World in my head at various points during the song.

The production value in “Hybrid Action Trailer” is outstanding and the song feels like it could immediately be used in an upcoming action blockbuster’s trailer; I could not help but imagine James Cameron’s upcoming Avatar film using this song for its trailer and I think it would go great in a trailer for a film like that. Make sure you check out Sarah Adnan Abdulrehman’s Soundcloud where she also recently posted a Horror Trailer and as always we have “Hybrid Action Trailer” embedded below!
