Seth Bowman and King Ka$h - The Devil’s Advocate

Seth Bowman and King Ka$h are both underground rappers making a name for themselves out of Knoxville, Tennesee. Both of these talented artists are clearly on the rise and they came together on their new EP to really shine together. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Seth Bowman and King Ka$h’s new EP, The Devil’s Advocate.

“Candlelight Séance” opens The Devil’s Advocate on a high note, serving as an immediate introduction to these two artists’ wit. I also thoroughly enjoy the flow within this song; it goes hard and is an absolute delight to listen to. “Murder That She Wrote” follows and, jeez, what an awesome track. The interplay between the backing instrumental and the vocal performance is absolutely phenomenal here, providing the kind of electrifying listening experience that I crave, breathing life into the lyrics in such a unique way.

“The Devil’s Advocate”, serving as the title track of the EP is third. The shortest song from the EP features, from my view, the best flow on the entire EP, while really highlighting the themes of this EP in a meaningful light. “12 a.m. Shadows” is up next and this track features my personal favorite instrumental from the EP with some awesome horns. Again, the vocal flow is on-point and awesomely enjoyable while the lyrics are genuine and play in a storytelling manner - sheesh, some true greatness here. “Hell Raiser” closes out the EP, ending things with perhaps the strongest song overall. This song highlights what both artists bring to the table in an awesome way, serving as a full-force flow explosion and a lyrical masterpiece. If there is one song you check out from this EP, it should be this one (though you should definitely check out all of them).

This EP hits hard in all of the best ways possible. I love the subtle darkness within these songs, set up perfectly for the near-Halloween release window these artists utilized. Seth Bowman and King Ka$h bring wit, charm and humor to the table on this EP and it really hits the spot. Both of these artists are extremely talented and show brilliantly on the EP and I think you all will enjoy this release greatly. We have The Devil’s Advocate embedded below - and below the Spotify player make sure you check out and follow Seth Bowman and King Ka$h on all their socials!
