Silverback Colony - I Want More
Silverback Colony is an alt/country band from Minnesota. Although this group has had many different lineup iterations, the band is typically led by Gabriel Douglas; throughout its existence the group has utilized twenty-seven musicians throughout the United States. Today we take a dive into Silverback Colony’s upcoming single, “I Want More” which features members Gabriel Douglas and Kai Brewster.
“I Want More” comes in at eleven minutes and twelve seconds and is a spirited track from beginning to end. The track gives off feelings of longing throughout all aspects of the song’s instrumentation and singing. Vocally, Gabriel Douglas sounds like a powerful gust of wind dominating a Midwestern landscape with a forceful performance that carries much of the song. Throughout multiple breaks from singing, the instrumental also kept me engaged, especially through dazzling guitar solos and inventive progression choices. Overall, “I Want More” is enjoyable from start to finish, utilizing its length and expert craftsmanship to provide a one of a kind listening experience.
Silverback Colony is a very interesting band with a ton of passion and a lot of talent and through “I Want More” we really get a taste of this group’s unique creative approach.
