Sluka - Saving It All
Sluka is a band formed by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Christopher Sluka. Sluka first found success in Japan and later Germany, eventually gaining enough popularity to release music on Christopher’s own label, Steel Flower Music. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Sluka’s single, “Saving It All”!
An absolute one of a kind experience, “Saving It All” is a richly textured and intimately arranged piece of music. Listeners will be entranced by the backing instrumental from the outset, its nature draped in a cloak of mystery. That said, the vocal performance is, for me, the most memorable portion of the song as both the lyrics and melody stuck with me long after the first few times I listened to the song. I feel like this song is a very distinctive full package - something that can only be crafted by a project like Sluka.
