Stacy Gabel is an award-winning singer/songwriter based in Eastern Pennsylvania. Gabel enjoys writing songs that have catchy lyrics and memorable melodies, something that she absolutely excels at. Today we dive into one of her brilliantly catchy songs and her latest single, the COVID-19 pandemic-themed “Stir Crazy”.
“Stir Crazy” takes us through some of Gabel’s observations about life during the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting stir craziness many of us have felt as a result of quarantining and self-isolating throughout; Gabel does offer a brief sign of hope with the line “the sun will shine again, we’ve gotta love this world we’re in” during the chorus, which I found to be a nice touch. Her vocal performance is outstanding and the melody is extremely catchy, making this a song you will not want to miss. In the end, “Stir Crazy” is a massively relevant song right now - we are all a bit stir crazy with COVID-19 limitations in place - and Stacy Gabel executes brilliantly across all aspects of the song.
“Stir Crazy” has a relevance that will transcend the COVID-19 pandemic; everyone gets a bit stir crazy sometimes, even under normal living circumstances.
