Stvge3 is a rapper who is based in Australia. Music has always been deeply important to Stvge3 throughout his life, often using it as an outlet when he has needed it. Upon starting his career in music, Stvge3 set out to make music capable of inspiring, helping and motivating others, a goal that he is well on his way to accomplishing in a truly meaningful way. Today we take a listen to “Daddy’s Girl”, Stvge3’s emotion-packed single.
“Daddy’s Girl” gives off a strong dreary vibe that really builds an emotive soundscape. The beat and Stvge3’s vocal flow both give off a very sad vibe which does a wonderful job of matching with the lyrical theme presented in the song. Lyrically, Stvge3 covers the story of a girl who struggles with drug abuse and a lot of inner turmoil who is capable of doing so much more than she was able to accomplish, stating “she could have been anything she wanted to be” and mentioning that she had the potential to do better. “Daddy’s Girl” is a tragic but relatable song; many of us have known people who could have done great things with their lives but became trapped in the loop of drug use.
Stvge3 really pushes out a strong message while showcasing his excellent songwriting skills with “Daddy’s Girl”. Stvge3 is currently pursuing his goal of releasing two songs per month for the remainder of 2020 and I think we have a lot to look forward to in terms of both the quality and quantity of his upcoming releases.
