“Letter to My Son” is an impressive and passionate song. Swagg Jazz’s quick-hitting flow really keeps you engaged for the whole song, featuring some great interplay with the instrumental. I love how soulful and natural Swagg Jazz is in this song; both the delivery and the meaning behind her words have a lot of weight to them, letting you know this is an important, meaningful song and it is one that is sure to stick with you over time. Some regular spoken-word lines close out the track, really communicating the song’s message -direct one to Swagg Jazz’s son - and it is powerful.
