Tango Spleen Orquesta is one of the top Tango ensembles among the world’s Tango panorama. Founded in Italy in 2008 by Argentine pianist, singer and composer Mariano Speranza, this ensemble is known both for its original compositions and interpretations and arrangements of classic pieces. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Tango Spleen Orquesta’s song “La Musa del Arrabal”!
“La Musa del Arrabal” is an emotive and easy to enjoy Tango song that will get you moving. As you would expect from a Tango song from a group as prolific as Tango Spleen Orquestra, this song is full of energy has quite a few impressive intricacies giving the piece depth. Something that sets this song apart from other music in the Tango genre that I have heard before is how expressive the vocal performance is; upon first listening to the song I was extremely impressed with how the song both made me want to get up and move and the emotional impact it had on me.
