Which Coast Minis: The Black Tape
The Black Tape is a punk rock band from Bavaria, Germany. With a sound reminiscent of bands like Left Alone, Rancid and The Distillers, The Black Tape create easily identifiable - and easily enjoyable - punk music. We took a listen to a few of their tracks recently and were particularly impressed with their in-your-face attitude and music style. “Amsterdam” serves as my best recommendation to introduce you to this group; its high energy level and clever melodic choices show off The Black Tape’s quintessential punk sound brilliantly.
