The Star Prairie Project - Fight Or Flight
The Star Prairie Project was created by Nolen R. Chew Jr., a songwriter from Star Prairie, Wisconsin. This project features musicians from all across the world, “from LA to London”, who come together to bring Chew Jr.’s vision to life. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on The Star Prairie Project’s new album, Fight or Flight, which is due for release on November 18, 2022!
Fight Or Flight is a concept album that features twelve songs. “Reality Check” sets the tone extremely well as the opening song and “Visions of War”, which follows, is a powerful track. “Thinking About You” provides one of the most enjoyable listening experiences on the album and I think that “It All Starts With You” is my personal favorite; it just has a really personal feel to it that hit me differently. Objectively, I would say “To The King” is the strongest song on the album and I think that it would be a phenomenal selection as a single - it really gives a great taste of what the album as a whole is like. “The Rain is Falling” closes the album on a high note, rounding out the experience extremely well.
While there are certainly standout songs on Fight Or Flight, the album is best listened to in a classic sense - in order, in one sitting - the message and meaning comes through strongest this way. All twelve songs - even those I did not touch on directly - unite to create a great experience that you are going to love.
