Justin Wiesinger, who goes by Wiesinger in the music sphere, is a Canadian musician, award-winning author, videographer and business owner. This hope dealing musician plays both guitar and drums; he got his first taste of the music industry as a member of a Pop-Punk band while in high school. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Wiesinger’s single, “Just Give Up”, which features Jessa Sky!
“Just Give Up” is one of many of Wiesinger’s songs that has its roots stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. A short but sweet track, coming in at just shy of two minutes, this song is extremely catchy and is sure to get stuck in your head. What struck me most on a personal level while listening were the lyrics of the song; there is truly as lot of beauty to be heard here and Wiesinger’s storytelling approach really sells the message in a meaningful way, making everything feel authentic. Speaking of the lyrics, Wiesinger and Jessa Sky share vocal responsibilities, bringing the aforementioned melodic catchiness hit home in an exciting and engaging way.
The title of this track was designed to hook the listener in; the actual message of the song is quite the opposite of what the title would suggest, aligning well with Wiesinger’s philosophy and goal of spreading hope.
