Blind Season is an Alternative Rock band from the Detroit Metro area. Through the years, the band has had five different lineup incarnations and the group’s current lineup and music is a testament to founding guitarist Shane Sigro’s desire to avoid a life of normalcy and improve the group’s sound. Today we take a dive into “One Final Goodbye”, Blind Season’s latest single.
“One Final Goodbye” is a triumphant song about realizing you no longer need to be in a toxic situation. The track begins with an outright punch as in your face guitar and explosive bass take control during the instrumental part of the track, really taking the listener on an explosively energetic experience. Lyrically, you can tell this one is straight from the heart and is based on a real-life experience with the track feeling like a powerful self-reflection. Sigro’s passion-drenched vocals bring the thunder and really drive the song’s point home in a moving and enjoyable way, truly encapsulating the emotions presented by the lyrics.
