Bloomr - Vamanos
Bloomr is an indie rock/singer-songwriter group created by Brian Scott and Steven Webb of the Baltimore band defenders. Their list of influences includes Pete Yorn, Guided By Voices, Superdrag, Centro-Matic and Dinosaur Jr. Today we listen to “Vamanos”, a new song from Bloomr’s upcoming album 2 which will be available soon on all major streaming platforms.
“Vamanos” is an excellent indie song that features a strong melodic structure and nostalgic feel. The vocals have a very genuine approach with the lyrics taking a storytelling route that gives the track a strong feeling of authenticity that is easy to believe in and relate to. This is the type of track that is sure to open your mind to some reflection while listening. I feel like “Vamanos” sounds like the kind of song that would fuel a coming-of-age indie film’s soundtrack with its nostalgic atmosphere, a trait that I really enjoy about the song.
“Vamanos” is an excellent track to introduce you to the distinctive sound that Bloomr has and I cannot wait until their new album is released to hear the rest of their new tracks.
