DXSHAWN - ONLY ME
DXSHAWN is a music project that is run by twenty year old recording artist Dashawn Cardinal who is based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Inspired by his favorite acts, this artist started out pursuing producing before switching toward lyric writing as a way to express his feelings. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on DXSHAWN’s single, “Only Me”!
“Only Me” is an absolute master class in flow and rhythm, providing an enthralling listening experience. DXSHAWN shares some personal lyrics and the way this interplays with both the flow and the beat is absolutely awesome; I really like the authentic touch these lyrics have and the flow really brings them to life in a meaningful way. The prod by Jammy Beatz is also awesome and really fits the vibe presented by DXSHAWN really well, rounding out this song as something truly special.
Traditionally having done music as a hobby, DXSHAWN has recently decided to start sharing his music with the world and I cannot wait to hear more.
