Vertacyn Arc Materializer - Nicotine Chewing Gum
Vertacyn Arc Materializer is a music experience based out of San Francisco, California. Having recently released the album Phlodd in August, this act certainly has been sending some creative vibes out into the ether. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Vertacyn Arc Materializer’s single, “Nicotine Chewing Gum”, from the album Phlodd!
“Nicotine Chewing Gum” is a synth-tastic release that has a lot of very interesting and engaging layers to it. Vocally, the track has almost a darkness to it which plays off of the crunchiness of the synths extremely well. The track closes out with a rousing performance by some live chickens, a kind of ending that may have been unexpected but was clearly original; I also cannot recall any other song ending like this, so this will definitely stick with me.
Having never heard Vertacyn Arc Materializer before now, I can definitely say I have been missing out on some truly distinctive performances. The computer-generated synth work in this track is absolutely awesome and I want to hear more.
