Rune - Two Weeks’ Notice

Rune is a singer/songwriter based in Subic Bay, Philippines. Rune recently released the EP Spellbound, a 90’s-00’s R&B influenced release which was this artist’s first serious attempt at writing and recording music. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Rune’s single, “Two Weeks’ Notice” which comes from the EP Spellbound!

“Two Weeks’ Notice” is a wonderful R&B style track that I found to be quite captivating. Rune’s lyrics have the perfect blend of artistry and honesty, showcasing both her excellent writing talent and the genuineness behind the words she is singing. I love how this song represents both the painful sting of heartbreak and the relief you feel once the healing process begins, a relatable message that is delivered in an eloquent way by Rune. You can hear the turn of the century-style R&B influences within this song but Rune puts her own special touch on it, creating a unique vibe that really is her own.

After listening to “Two Weeks’ Notice”, you will want to check out the other two tracks from Spellbound - trust me. Rune has a lot of talent and I cannot wait to hear more from her. You can keep up with Rune through Instagram and we have “Two Weeks’ Notice” embedded below via Spotify - check it out and send Rune some love!
