“Trust Fall” has an undeniably dark nature about it that will really stick with you. I really appreciate Iva Toric’s use of imagery within the lyrics of this song; this approach really allows for the gloomy atmosphere this song has really shine across the board. Indeed, not only are Toric’s words quite dark but the instrumental matches perfectly with each note chosen perfectly to create a dark - but extremely memorable - soundscape overall.
As my first experience with Iva Toric’s music, “Trust Fall” really stands out among the other music I have heard recently. This song is definitely dark but it is dark in an honest, if a bit brutal, way - something I deeply appreciate about the song.
