Izzie's Caravan - A Beautiful Nightmare
Izzie's Caravan is a self-proclaimed musical lovechild of early-Aerosmith and Johnny Winter. This group has a strong understanding of classic rock and all of the nuances that make the genre special. Previously, we took a listen to Izzie’s Caravan’s song “Return to Midway” and today we take another dive into this enthralling band’s music through their track, “A Beautiful Nightmare”.
“A Beautiful Nightmare” is a heartfelt mid-tempo rock song that effortlessly transports you back to an era gone by - the era of true classic rock. This is a truly emotive track that I found to be rather easy to get lost in, both on my first listen and again throughout subsequent listening sessions. My favorite part of this track is the interplay between the piano and the rest of the track’s instruments; the way in which it takes the lead among the instruments and provides an additional accent for the vocals is the biggest reason why I got lost in this track so easily.
In our previous article, we described Izzie’s Caravan as a blessing and I believe that this holds even more true after listening to “A Beautiful Nightmare”. This track is brimming with heart and meaning and it is sure to stick with you for a long time.
