Artistic, elegant and resonant, “Foglights” is the kind of song that will leave an impact with you long after the first time you listen. Creative melodies and elegant textures are clear highlights of this track with Mariami’s vocals leading the way. I really like the approach taken in the instrumental portion of the song; while not explicitly minimalist, it is crafted perfectly to have a pleasing sound that perfectly compliments the vocals without taking unnecessary attention away.
