Nouhi's Nomad - Number 4
Nouhi's Nomad, which is pronounced ‘New-He’s Nomad’ is an Iranian-American multi-instrumentalist and creator from New York City. His sound can be described as “genre fluid” as it does not stick to just a single sound or genre while creating. Today we are excited to share our review of “Number 4”, Nouhi’s Nomad’s latest single which dropped on April 16, 2021.
From the very beginning, “Number 4” offers a unique listening experience that pleases absolutely. The track’s bassline drives the entire track forward, steering things in a way that allows for the guitar and vocal melody to serve as breakthrough stars. Indeed, this song’s catchy nature allows it to get stuck in your head easily, though it is more in the sense that it pops in and out of your head throughout the day. Nomad captures the essence of New York Indie Rock (especially acts like The Strokes) and mixes it with just a hint of west coast style surf energy to make “Number 4” a rich track from top to bottom.
I am definitely excited to hear more from Nouhi’s Nomad after listening to “Number 4” and I am thankful this new artist has burst onto the scene. The song would go extremely well on most Indie rock playlists and I put it on my personal playlist where I have most of my Strokes and Killers music.
