The honest emotions that Miller presents in this song are relatable and the feeling of heartbreak he shares with us is one that most of us have experienced personally. I am never really surprised by the comparisons Miller gets to Johnny Cash; while his delivery is unmistakably his own, it feels like it comes from the same kind of place as Cash’s.
