Today we dig into Ryan Todd Garza’s single, “These Arms of Mine”.
“These Arms of Mine” is a subdued song that gives off very loving and longing energy. Lyrically, Garza takes us through his desire to be with another person and all of the things he would do given the chance - including holding them in the titular “arms of mine”. Garza really does an excellent job of creating a longing atmosphere and the vocals match the lyrics and instrumental track brilliantly in this regard. One thing that I really enjoyed while listening to the song is the way the violin accented the song as a whole, giving off the exact right amount of flavor and really bringing up the instrumental track’s sound.
Through “These Arms of Mine”, we can come to understand the passion that Ryan Todd Garza puts into his music; it is this passionate nature that allows his lyrics and vocals to shine within the song. “These Arms of Mine” is truly brimming with heart and features the right amount of pop polish to make the song just as memorable as it is endearing.
