Sarantos - I Never Catch the Train

Sarantos is an award-winning solo music artist, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Sarantos has pledged to release a new song and lyric video during the first week of every month, a new music video during the second week, a new book chapter the third week and an Uncut Behind The Scenes video & Poem the 4th week of every month - donating a portion of the proceeds to charity, truly a noble artistic endeavor. Today we explore Sarantos’ new single, “I Never Catch the Train”.

“I Never Catch the Train” is a self-depreciating reflection on Sarantos and his life, using his metaphorical inability to “catch the train on time” to describe how no matter how hard he tries, he is not in the right place at the right time. The bassline grooves along as Sarantos sings his misfortunes, pairing with his pained words in a way that makes both elements of this track stand out as memorable. You can tell that Sarantos really feels the words he is singing, adding a layer of authenticity to his music. Folksy, rootsy and full of southern-infused charm, “I Never Catch the Train” is, overall, an honest and well-presented track from Sarantos.

Be sure to keep an eye on what Sarantos is doing across his artistic career - there is sure to be plenty of material, both music and otherwise, coming from this talented artist for a very long time!
