Shana - No Rainy Days
Shana is a British-Nigerian music artist currently based out of South London, UK. Only seventeen years old, Shana is already making waves with her music which combines aspects of R&B with afro-dancehall to create a passionate and ear-pleasing sound. Today we check out Shana’s new track, “No Rainy Days”, which was written and produced by Jiffthegeneral.
“No Rainy Days” serves as a continuation of Shana’s debut single, “Crush on You”, focusing in on positive details of her relationship with her partner. Shana’s singing truly carries the track and lyrically, the song is very sweet as Shana walks us through all of the love she feels for her partner. The lyrics are punctuated with the line “Everyday is summertime with you no rainy days”, where the title of the song seems to come from. Instrumentally, the track features a pretty subtle beat and percussion performance, allowing Shana’s vocals to carry the song which I feel is an excellent artistic choice; Jiffthegeneral’s production is certainly outstanding here. “No Rainy Days” as a whole features a very chill vibe and gives off a lot of relaxing positive energy; the song definitely left me feeling refreshed after listening.
Overall, “No Rainy Days” shows us why Shana is an artist on the rise - her singing talent and the passion she has for her craft are truly exceptional. Her work with Jiffthegeneral is paying dividends and she now has some excellent tracks that have kicked off her career splendidly.
