SoundCup ft. Schmorgle - To the Judge
SoundCup is an EDM music producer from Switzerland and currently residing in the French Alps. A true music lover, SoundCup enjoys experimenting with sounds to create something truly unique. Recently, SoundCup enrolled in an online class hosted by Norwegian DJ/producer Kygo to hone his craft. Today we take a listen to the first track SoundCup produced for his class with Kygo, “To the Judge”.
With the goal to create a song with a synth lead track for his class, SoundCup created “To the Judge”. A fresh and airy sounding EDM track, “To the Judge” really sets up a meaningful atmosphere with the soundscape SoundCup created. Guest vocals by Schmorgle play off of the instrumental portion of the song extremely well and the lyrics stay on-target with the concept its title presents, especially during the track’s chorus. I felt refreshed after listening to “To the Judge” and I feel as though this track is incredibly easy to vibe along with; this song really is a complete package in that it is both easy to dance to and easy to chill to, depending on your mood.
“To the Judge” is certainly an excitement-generating debut track for SoundCup. Based on what I heard through this track, I really look forward to hearing more music from SoundCup as he progresses through this class with Kygo - and as he progresses through his music career.
