Sports Team is a London band sprouting from 2017 that has been steadily releasing EPs and singles. I had only just discovered this band and it’s one of the few times I felt like I’ve struck on something really cool that I (and hopefully you) will keep an eye out. They have a debut album called Deep Down Happy that’s set to be released June 19th, 2020 that I will definitely be hearing ASAP. The music reminds me of what I wish The Strokes sounded like. It’s only every once in a while we get a voice like this and I’m always a sucker for it.
Sports Team just released a new music video for their song “Going Soft.” It’s a catchy tune featuring the sporadic vocals we’ve come to expect from Sports Team. An Absolutely infectious chorus makes this one to blast in a car with the windows open.
