Stephen Jacques - Left L.A.
Stephen Jacques is a talented frontman from Richmond, Virginia. Jacques is known for his partnership with producer Alan Weatherhead with whom he creates some excellent music. We previously took a look at Jacques’ track, “James River Swim” and today we take a listen to Stephen Jacques’ track, “Left L.A.” from the album Soul Hydraulics.
“Left L.A.” is an honest track that features a combination of a storytelling and reflective method to the lyrics. Instrumentally, the track is quite hooky, sure to draw you in from the opening moments of the song. Jacques’ vocal work takes center stage and the vocal harmonies throughout the track, specifically in the verses, highlight key phrasing which an approach that really makes certain lines pop. “Left L.A.” is a complete package of a track and it stands as yet another hit from Stephen Jacques.
