Sun King Rising is a musical experience provided by PeacockSunrise recording artist and biomedical scientist John Blangero. Known for his soul-barring sounds, Blangero is a talented music artist with years of experience and it definitely shows in the music that he creates as Sun King Rising. Today we take a dive into Sun King Rising’s single, “Free Will In China Blue”!
From the song’s opening moments, Sun King Rising establishes that “Free Will In China Blue” is about a Southern man, providing both a setting and point of view from which the song’s lyrics come from; it is from this perspective where the track is almost narrated from - I really enjoy the lyrical and vocal presentation that this one features! The instrumental portion of the track provides a thrilling feeling of swagger which really pairs nicely with the vocal performance in this track. Overall, this track has a strong sense of Southern charm and it is a truly exceptional release.
