“Oldest Story in the World”, which is a reimagining of the classic Plimsouls song, is an absolutely soul-barring effort and I was left quite impressed by how perfectly both the instrumentation and vocal performance captured the depth of emotion the original song featured and even added something new. The benefit of taking on an older song like this in the modern age is how much cleaner the production can be, which helps to give The Undecideds’ version of this song a more contemporary feel despite its classic, raw emotion. I think you will be blown away by just how good this group’s take on “Oldest Story in the World” is!
