“Aloof” is a perfectly polished and magically melodic track. Trey Connor’s lyrics are personal and reflective, making its content not just something you can hear but also something you can feel. Speaking of how this track made me feel, I actually feel extremely strong 80’s vibes coming from this track and I can picture it playing in a classic coming of age film, its lyrical content matching up with that kind of scene extremely well. “Aloof” is meaningful, catchy and altogether an easy to enjoy track - one that truly is something special.
