Wibby White is a musician who combines pop, dance and soul music to create his eclectic EDM sound. Prior to becoming an EDM artist, White was a model, dancer and art student, experiences that seem to have helped shape his easy to dance to music. “Optimistic” is a groovy dance pop song that I found incredibly easy to dance to. The track features a bouncing and bumping bass that drives the beat in an electrifying way. Lyrically, the song shines where many other EDM-based tracks do not, as White’s message that we have to be “optimistic” is a timeless one with special resonance right now during the COVID-19 pandemic; I feel like this is the kind of music we all need right now to stay positive and forward-thinking. An excellent combination of heart and pop polish make this track one you can’t miss.
“Optimistic” is a song that would fit in great in a club atmosphere or at a party; listening to this track could also help in setting your mind up for success before tackling a big project like a research paper as well.
