A real rocker with a vide variety of influences, Doucette’s music reflects many elements of the varied sounds of artists stretching from Guns N Roses through Keith Urban. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Brian Doucette’s single, “Day Drinkin”!
A bundle of summer fun, “Day Drinkin” is one heck of a song. A massively catchy song, this one will get stuck in your head for sure and it is a very enjoyable exerience. I really enjoy how this song does not take itself seriously; in terms of lyrics and vibes, it feels like a fun cross between Toby Keith’s “Red Solo Cup” and The Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling” - both feel-good classics that are brimming with personality, like this song. I feel like this track would be an absolute show-stealer at frat parties - or if you are a bit older like me, after work office parties.
I will be honest, “Day Drinkin” was not quite the song I expected it would be based on what I had previously heard from Brian Doucette but I can definitely say that this surprise was a pleasant one.
