Throughout the song, you can hear the pain and passion in Kelley’s voice as he outlines the murder of Ahmaud Arbery and the injustices black Americans have to deal with; this pain, along with Kelley’s vocal skills are on full display during the powerful, harmonious chorus. “Ahmaud” is a song with a strong message behind it and if the lyrics don't drive a sense of pain, sadness and frustration into your heart, you will feel it through Kelley’s vocals.
