Deadphonecalls - Revolution Day

Deadphonecalls is a band that combines music and mystery, sounds and mysticism in a spiritual context. Indeed, this band was named for the phenomenon “phone calls from the dead” and tries to open a window on parallel worlds, interpreting numbers and symbols as perceptible signs of the divine in our daily lives. Today we are excited to take a listen to Deadphonecalls’ single, “Revolution Day”!

At about five minutes in length, “Revolution Day” captures your attention from its opening moments until its conclusion. From a lyrical standpoint, the track serves as a rallying cry befitting its name while still containing the kind of language you should expect from a band dealing with mystical qualities. I thoroughly enjoyed the way the instrumental and vocal performance come together on this track as well, ensuring that the lyrical impact remains with you thanks to solid melodic structure. The music video also captures both the concepts discussed within “Revolution Day” itself as well as providing some of the atmosphere that Deadphonecalls strives to craft.

Honestly, Deadphonecalls is founded on some of the most interesting concepts that we have ever checked out here at Which Coast. “Revolution Day” is an awesome jumping-on point for this band and I am glad I get to share it with you all. Make sure you check out DEADPHONECALLS’ website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages to learn more and for updates. We have “Revolution Day” embedded below - check it out!
