Jared Daws is a singer/songwriter originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. Active in the music world since 2008, Daws is currently touring his music as a solo acoustic act but will have a band joining him on the road in the near future. Today we are excited to share our thoughts on Jared Daws’ single, “Fighter Boy”, from the album Snow Below!
An autobiographical song that was dedicated to his late older brother, “Fighter Boy” is a brilliant showcase of the heart and soul Jared Daws brings to his music. Indeed, this track is a heartfelt piece of Americana with lyrics that hold true to its name, with lyrics detailing the fight within Daws’ heart. I took the song’s message to be a display of Daws’ never-quit attitude with an intent to be an encouraging message to never stop fighting - both figuratively and literally - for what you believe is important.
