Joseph Ferman - La Vida

Joseph Ferman is a Quixote Music Salvadoran recording artist. The talented Ferman is a multilingual artist; he can sing in Spanish, French, English and Portuguese, certainly a unique skillset in today’s music landscape. Today we take a listen to Joseph Ferman’s single, “La Vida”, which was written in response to his experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“La Vida” is a Spanish-language song that guides us through Joseph Ferman’s current outlook on life. Instrumentally, the track takes a smooth Latin-based approach that suits the vocal melody very well. Lyrically, the song features primarily sunny vibes throughout its duration, featuring a testimony to living life well with noticeable faith-based overtones. It is in these encouragements to “live life well” and “do good” where we find Ferman’s life philosophy and his dedication to leaving it all up to God in the end - though his goal is to enjoy life in the ways he can while he is here. I found Ferman’s drive to stay positive during these trying times to be inspirational and, honestly, a bit refreshing and soothing.

Overall, “La Vida” hits in a strong place within the heart and holds a timeless meaning, even beyond current societal situations: enjoy your life and live it well. Joseph Ferman’s outlook on life and music talent are both exceptional and interesting and we really get a sense for that by listening to “La Vida”. You can keep up with Joseph Ferman on Facebook and check out his music on YouTube. We have “La Vida” embedded below for your listening pleasure!
