Mathias Noise - Paradox
Mathias Noise is a band from Southern New Jersey. Mathias Noise is a family-driven music experience, made up of two brothers and their father; brothers James Mathias on guitar/lead vocals and Daniel Mathias on drums with father Dean Mathias on bass. Today we take a listen to their new single, “Paradox”, which releases today - September 4, 2020.
“Paradox” opens up with a chunky guitar riff that sets the table brilliantly - this song has a lot of punch to it. The guitar stands out throughout the track, with excellent riff work serving as the primary driving force behind the energy that the track gives off. Excellent drum and bass performances keep the song pounding throughout and James Mathias’ vocals push the song forward, matching the energy presented by the instrumental portion of the song spectacularly. A brief but explosive guitar solo towards the end of the track was definitely my favorite part of the song and it served to help wrap the song up on an extremely high note.
“Paradox” is a hard-hitting song that shows off the superb skills that Mathias Noise brings to the table. The crunchy rhythm provided by Daniel and Dean mixed with the energetic flair of James’ lead guitar and vocals makes for an electric combination that is sure to please.
