Trey Connor - Fear
Trey Connor is a rising modern indie artist who combines pop and alternative sounds to make his style fresh and distinctive. Originally from Michigan but currently residing in Austin, TX, Connor has many accolades under his belt and he continues to impress with every new release. Today we take another listen to Connor’s music through the song “Fear”, from his album Horizons.
Through “Fear”, Trey Connor displays his excellent ability to write and perform incredibly catchy music that contains a lot of personality and personal experiences. The track features an incredibly hooky melody throughout its duration and Connor’s vocals are always on-point. Lyrically, the song goes into how Connor is trying to move past his fears while acknowledging that fear will always be a part of him, a message that is sobering, though Connor clearly tries to stay positive about his fears, declaring “I won’t accept defeat”.
“Fear” is the lead track from Trey Connor’s album Horizons and does a wonderful job of kicking the album off by showing off all of the passion and clever construction that goes into Connor’s music.
